NATIONAL NIGHT OUT - Tuesday, August 5, 2008

Come join your neighbors for
National Night Out
America’s Night Out Against Crime
!FOOD, FUN, MUSIC, PRIZES and MORE
at this year’s National Night out Block Party!

  When:             Tuesday, August 5th 
  Time:               6pm - 10 pm
  Where:           800 Block of Aiken Street
                          (between Lincoln St. & Gadsden St.)

Visits from Officers and Vehicles of Columbia Police and Fire Departments

Enjoy Live Band, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, refreshments and prizes!
This will be the 25th annual National Night Out - an event designed to strengthen our neighborhoods through police-community partnerships. The goal is to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs and, most importantly, send a message to criminals that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors and your Neighborhood Watch even better -  see you there!
