Located in the heart of Columbia, South Carolina, Elmwood Park combines charm with the convenience and excitement of downtown living. Streets are lined with century old trees that visitors and neighbors enjoy while strolling by beautifully restored homes and gardens. The neighborhood retains its feeling of life from Columbia's past. Elmwood Park received the 2013 NUSA 1st place award for Physical Revitalization/Beautification Single Neighborhood Category.

Residents enjoy living in the heart of Columbia. Several parks, University of South Carolina and the Stathouse is less then two miles away. Theaters, concert halls, art galleries, dining and shopping as well as hospitals are just minutes away.

Elmwood Park Neighborhood Association

The Elmwood Park Neighborhood Association was organized on October 4, 1977 at a meeting held at the Park Street Baptist Church. Founding members of the neighborhood association were Elliot Houser, Sr., Thomas Mosley, Roy Lynch, Mack Brown and Rev. H.A. Hinton. The association has played and continues to play an important role of the successful revitalization of Elmwood Park.

Our 32nd annual Tour of Homes will be Saturday April 11, 2015. The Tour will festure homes and gardens that the reflect the variety of styles which makes Elmwood Park such a vibrant and exciting community. There will artists on porches, music, and chef demonstrations. The Association also has social events and monthly neighborhood meetings
