A hauntingly good time awaits! As the leaves change color and a mischievous chill fills the air, Historic Elmwood Park prepares for its spooktacular 4th annual Nightmare in Elmwood 5k & Fun Run.
On Saturday, October 25th, 2025, costumed creatures of all ages will gather for a boo-tiful event filled with fang-tastic thrills and chills.
Families in costumes, a course decorated with eye-catching cobwebs and grinning pumpkins, and the enthusiastic cheers of the crowd create an ear-resistable atmosphere.
This isn't just a race; it's something that has become a community tradition for more than 550 Halloween and running enthusiasts, and is a witching good time that strengthens our community, raises awareness about historic preservation, and empowers the Elmwood Park neighborhood association to continue its spellbinding work.
